PROYECTO EUROPEO DE INGLÉS ETWINNING EN
INFANTIL 5 AÑOS 2016-2017:
“ONCE UPON A RECENT TIME…”
Tras
una novedosa y preciosa aventura terminada con el proyecto Etwinning
del curso pasado, nos embarcamos de nuevo en otro proyecto diferente,
pero al mismo tiempo motivador y enriquecedor para nuestros alumnos de
la etapa de Infantil, en ambos grupos de 5 años. Lo hemos llamado “Once
upon a recent time…” haciendo referencia a la conocida expresión en
inglés con la que suelen comenzar los cuentos tradicionales ( Once upon a
time), pero añadiendo el matiz de que estos cuentos pertenecen a los
tiempos modernos y recientes de nuestra sociedad actual (recent). Es por
ello, que considerando que los cuentos han de adaptarse a los tiempos
que corren para nuestros alumnos, hemos decidido trabajar algunos de
ellos para tratar valores y contenidos actuales a través del uso de la
lengua inglesa.
Este
proyecto surge del mismo grupo de maestros implicados en el proyecto
“We love Europets”, pero este año contamos con más participantes socios
que colaborarán junto con los que ya estuvimos trabajando el curso
pasado ( diferentes colegios de España e Italia) y además se ha unido un
colegio de Londres, Reino Unido y otro de Chipre.

europeos. Con la herramienta digital llamada Popplet, hicimos un mapa
conceptual con todos nuestros vídeos y fotos de presentación, ¿queréis

Os
invitamos a que nos acompañéis en esta aventura literaria que ya hemos
comenzado a disfrutar, para que la podáis disfrutar junto a nosotros. Y
qué mejor manera de empezar nuestra historia que con el título del
proyecto…
Once upon a recent time…
1. "GO AWAY, BIG GREEN MONSTER!"
Once upon a recent time there was a BIG GREEN MONSTER...
Había una vez un GRAN MONSTRUO VERDE...
Comenzamos
nuestro proyecto trabajando el cuento llamado " Go away Big Green
Monster" coincidiendo con la Festividad anglosajona de Halloween.
A
través de este cuento, hemos trabajado la emoción del miedo, y nos ha
ayudado para saber cuándo sentimos miedo, cómo lo sentimos y cómo
eliminar ese miedo de nosotros mismos diciendo la frase que repite el
niño del cuento al Big Green Monster: diciéndole " go away!" (vete). De
esta manera, podremos detectar nuestros miedos y eliminarlos nosotros
solitos en cualquier situación de la vida diaria que nos encontremos.
También
veremos cómo nuestros amigos europeos trabajan el cuento igual que
nosotros y así, apreciaremos realmente la diversidad del proyecto.
We start with the story "Go away big green monster" and activities about it. Both of them will allow our students to deal with the feeling of fear and help them face it in their daily life. It is important to children to see how their friends work at the same time in different ways, and so, they will really appreciate diversity!
CÓMO TRABAJAMOS EL CUENTO:
Primero, las teachers Gema y Comba nos presentaron el cuento y hablamos sobre lo que pensábamos que trataría la historia, al mismo tiempo que hablamos de los miedos y de cómo eliminarlos diciendo "vete". Después, nos contaron el cuento en la alfombra y finalmente, vimos el vídeo del cuento en la pizarra. ¡ Nos gustó mucho cuando nos daban sustos!
We talked about the feeling of fear raising some questions such as what we are afraid of, when we are scared and how we feel in those situations. After that, we learnt that there is no point in having those fears. All we have to do to say good bye to those fears is saying out loud "go away!". We went to the carpet, sat down on it and listened to the teacher's reading of the tale. But, previously, we had to discover what we thought the story was about by just looking at the cover. after the reading we all went back to our places and watched the story video on the whiteboard.
Después, cantamos la canción de " Go away big green monster" en inglés. ¡ Nos lo pasamos muy bien y nos la aprendimos en seguida!
We also watched the video of the song "Go away big green monster" and sang it altogether and in groups, each group singing a piece of the whole song. It was really fun!
Finalmente, hicimos unas máscaras del Big Green Monster para el día de Halloween y vimos lo que habían hecho nuestros amigos: máscaras, las canciones...¡ Quedó todo muy bonito y muy escalofriante!
Finally, we made some masks of cardboard, coloured them like the Monster for Halloween Day and we saw everything our friends had made, too. Everything was really lovely and scaaary!!

2. " THE RAINBOW FISH"
Continuamos nuestro proyecto con un precioso cuento llamado "The Rainbow Fish" (El Pez Arcoiris), mediante el cual trabajaremos valores como la generosidad y la valía de compartir con los demás para sentirnos más felices. De este modo, haremos diversas actividades para acabar con una colaborativa y desear unas felices fiestas al resto de compañeros europeos miembros del proyecto.
We continued working in our project with a beautiful tale called The Rainbow Fish with which we are working values like generosity and the value of sharing with others in order to feel happier. Thus, we will do different activities endin up with a collaborative one to with Merry Christmas to the rest of our European friends, also members in this project.
CÓMO TRABAJAMOS EL CUENTO:
Comenzamos
contando el cuento a los niños de manera participativa y colaborativa
con ellos. Después, vimos el video de la historia en la pizarra digital.
¡ Nos gustó muchísimo!
We
started telling the story in a very collaborative way with our
children. Later, we all watched the video story on the digital
whiteboard.
Después
de ver la historia de nuestro pez favorito, la maestra nos explicó que
vamos a hacer nuestro propio pez de manera colaborativa y conjunta con
el resto de países, de modo que empezamos a colorear una escama cada uno
y a decorar con purpurina para que quedaran muy bonitas y nos gustaran
tanto a nosotros como a nuestros amigos. ¡ Quedaron preciosas!
After
watching our favourite fish story, the teacher told us that we were
going to make our own Rainbow Fish in a collaborative way with the rest
of countries, so each one of us started to colour and decorate scales
with crayons and glitter so that we would love them and we did, they
looked absolutely beautiful!
También
hicimos otra actividades como por ejemplo: colorear un pez relacionando
números y colores, ver un vídeo de canciones sobre peces, etc. Aquí hay

We
also did other activities about fish as for example: colouring a
rainbow fish relating numbers and colours, watching video songs about
fish, etc. Here there is a link to photos about what we did:
Y
llegó el momento de ver cómo habían quedado las escamas de nuestros
amigos para formar y crear nuestros propios peces arcoiris. Nos pusimos
manos a la obra en equipos, con nuestras escamas y las de nuestros
amigos y los peces quedaron preciosos. Después, pintamos las partes del
cuerpo de los peces que se habían quedado en blanco para que estuvieran
los más coloridos posibles. ¡ Nos encantaron todos!
Now
it was time to see how our friends´s scales looked like to make up our
own rainbow fish. We started to arrange our own and our friends´s scales
in groups and made up new fish, they looked amazing! Later, we coloured
the rest of the fish with crayons so that they looked abolutely
colourful and fabulous. We loved all of them!
Después,
votamos al pez favorito de la clase para que fuera éste el que
compartiríamos en el Twinspace con el resto de peces elegidos por el
resto de miembros. ¡ Qué difícil elegir al más bonito de los tres!
Later,
we voted for the fish we liked most in our class to share it with the
rest of fish from the other members. It was so difficult to choose one
from the three of them...
El pez elegido fue muy bonito. ¡ Nos encantó!
The most voted one was really beautiful! We loved it!
La
maestra trajo a clase el Pez Arcoiris en marioneta para que lo
viéramos, saludarle y desearle unas felices fiestas también. ¡ Fue
increíble y tan encantador!
The
teacher brought to class the Rainbow Fish puppet for us to see it and
say hello and merry christmas to it, too! It was amazing and so lovely!
En
el pasillo de las clases hicimos un póster enorme a modo de exposición
para nuestros peces. Quedó genial, parecía un mar de verdad. Ésta fue
nuestra forma de decir Feliz Navidad y Feliz Año Nuevo a todos los
miembros del proyecto y también a todos los alumnos y profes de nuestro
cole.
In
the corridor we made a huge poster as an exhibition for our fish and
our friends of the other group from our school, also members in the
project. It looked awesome and magnificent, like a real sea! This was
our personal way to say Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone
in the project and also in our school.
Finalmente,
nuestro pez que habíamos elegido se colocó en la pecera digital que
habíamos creado para desearnos unas felices fiestas en inglés y en
nuestras lenguas maternas. La herramienta utilizada para ello fue
Padlet.
Finally,
our chosen fish was put in the digital fish tank we had created to wish
a happy holiday to others in English and in our mother tongues. The
tool we used for that was Padlet.
Y,
para terminar con este cuento, realizamos otra actividad colaborativa,
una videoconferencia, para desearnos unas felices fiestas en tiempo real
y con una herrmienta de comunicación real e instantánea como es la de
videochat que proporciona el Twinspace.
Nos
dividimos los distintos miembros en distintas fechas y horas para
organizarnos bien y de esta manera, nosotros hablamos con los alumnos
italianos de Fossalto, sus maestras se llaman Nicco, Laura y Assunta.
Hablamos en inglés, en español y en italiano. También cantamos unos
villancicos en nuestra lengua. ¡ Fue muy divertido!
And,
to finish with this story, we did another collaborative activity, a
videoconference, to with Merry Christmas in real time to others using
the live videochat on Twinspace.
All
the members decided different dates and times in order to do it in the
most organised way possible. We talked to Italian students from
Fossalto, their teachers were Nicco, Laura and Assunta. We talked in
English and a little Spanish and Italian, we also sang some Christmas
Carols. It was great fun!
3. "THE GRUFFALO"
Había una vez una extraña criatura llamada Gruffalo...
Once upon a recent time there was a strange creature called a Gruffalo...
Continuamos nuestro proyecto con un precioso cuento llamado "The Gruffalo" (El Gruffalo), mediante el cual trabajamos valores como la grandeza del personaje más pequeño e inteligente puede salir victorioso al final de la historia. Coincidiendo con el período festivo de Carnaval, hicimos diversas actividades para trabajar el cuento para terminar realizando dos actividades colaborativas entre todos los alumnos europeos del proyecto.
We continue our project working a beautiful book called "The Gruffalo", through which we worked some values like the smart and intelligent character can still win at the end of the story. As Carnival Time was close, we did several activities to work the book and we also did two collaborative activities among all the European students taking part in the project.
CÓMO TRABAJAMOS EL CUENTO:
Grupo Infantil 5 años B (Maestra: Gema)/Group: 5 years B ( Teacher: Gema)Llegó el Carnaval al colegio y todos llevábamos maquillaje en la cara, también llegó el momento de hablar sobre el cuento llamado "El Gruffallo"/It was Carnival Time at school and all of us had some make up on our faces, and it was also time to talk about the storytale called "The Gruffalo".
Primero, empezamos echando un vistazo a la portada del cuento, diciendo qué esperabamos encontrar en el libro y cómo sería el Gruffalo... Todos juntos pensamos ideas sobre el personaje principal y cómo serían sus aventuras en el libro. También hablamos sobre la moraleja del cuento./First, we started having a look at the book cover, what we expected the story to be and what we thought the Gruffalo might be...All together came up with ideas about the main character and its adventures in the book. We also talked about the moral implied in the book: the smart, small character can still win at the end of the story .
Después, Gema nos contó el cuento en la alfombra y a todos nos asombró la historia...¡Nos encantaron los animales que en ella salían! Al final, también aprendimos la moraleja del cuento y pusimos en común lo que habíamos aprendido del mismo./Then, the teacher Gema told us the story on the carpet and we all were amazed of the fantastic story we were about to see and listen... we love animals! Finally we also learnt the moral of the story and put in common what we had seen and learnt from this beautiful tale.

Después de este genial cuentacuentos, vimos la historia del Gruffalo en vídeo en la pizarra digital y también vimos y escuchamos la canción al mismo tiempo que la teacher nos enseñaba unas tarjetas sobre las partes del cuerpo del Gruffalo para aprendernos mejor la canción, después las pusimos en orden como en la canción entre todos. Al final, como estábamos en la víspera de Carnaval, nos hicimos unas máscaras del Gruffalo, ¡fue fantástico!¡Nos lo pasamos muy bien!/ After this great story telling, we watched the story of the Gruffalo on the whiteboard, also watched and listened to the Gruffalo song at the same time our teacher showed us some pictures of the story and the Gruffalo´s parts of the body, we also played how to put them in order. Finally, as Carnival was close, we made a mask of the Gruffalo! It was amazing! We had great fun!

ACTIVIDAD COLLABORATIVA: PÓSTER DIGITAL COOPERATIVO.
Para esta actividad, cada centro socio realizará un personaje del cuento, para después unirlos todos en el mismo espacio digital: un póster ambientado en el cuento del Gruffalo. / For this activity, each member drew a character from the story in order to put all of them together later in the same digital space: a poster set in the Gruffalo story.
Nuestro personaje para el póster fue el ratón. Para ello, dibujamos cada uno un ratón, después votamos al que más nos gustaba de la clase, sin saber de quién era y finalmente, elegimos el que más nos gustaba de entre las dos clases. ¡Quedaron todos muy bonitos! / Our character for the poster was the mouse. For this, we drew a mouse each one of us, then we voted the mouse we liked most without knowing the name of their authors and finally, we chose the mouse we liked most from the two classrooms. They were so cute!
Usamos la herramienta llamada LINOIT / We used the tool called LINOIT.
Después de completar nuestro póster colaborativo con los animales hechos por todos nuestros amigos europeos y nosotros mismos, vimos el póster en clase y repasamos sus nombres en inglés, ¡nos encantó! /After completing the poster with all the animals made by our European friends, we watched it on the whiteboard and said their names in English, we loved them! Thank you, friends!
ACTIVIDAD COLLABORATIVA: LIBRO DIGITAL COOPERATIVO (THE GRUFFALA)
Para esta actividad, hicimos un libro digital cooperativo, de manera que cada centro se encargaba de hacer una página del mismo libro para que al final surja una historia divertida y disparatada con un personaje inventado por cada uno de los centros socios. El título es como el original pero le hemos cambiado el sexo, esta vez el personaje principal será femenino y su aventura será diferente e inventada por todos nosotros. De esta manera, se formenta la creatividad y originalidad en el cuento. / For this activity, we made a digital cooperative book. Each member carried away one page of the book so that at the end there is a hilarious and funny story with new different characters created by all of us. The title changed a little, into the female version of the Gruffalo. The plot was different with different adventures also created by all of us. This way, creativity is enhanced in the new story.
